(Katie - Fly Fishing)
In this episode, I had the honour to have Katie as my guest. She shared with me her interest in fly fishing as her hobby.
The great thing about fishing is that you get to relax and enjoy your environment around you while trying to catch a fish. It’s unfortunate when you don’t catch one but mother nature is always down to give you some company. For Katie, she prefers to do fly fishing because it requires a different set of skills compared to spin fishing. If you enjoy spin fishing, why not try fly fishing?

(Nichelle - Medieval Recreation)
In this episode, I had the honour to have Nichelle as my guest. She shared with me her interest in medieval recreation as her hobby.
Recreation of a history allows you to better understand the way of life of people from different time periods. For Nichelle, medieval age is her favourite because she enjoys meeting with her friends and try to live the way people back then lived. Why buy a metal spoon at Walmart, when you can make it? Why buy outfits in a store when you can make it? The easy answer is that buying it is easier but when you make it you get to customize it any way you want and you created something. Nichelle and her group can almost recreate anything from the medieval age, their imagination is their only limit.

(Selina - Violinist)
In this episode, I had the honour to have Selina as my guest. She shared with me her interest in being a violinist as her hobby.
Instruments have the ability to create a mood for any kind of situation. Happy moment? Instruments have a sound for that! Sad moment? Instruments have a sound for that! Neutral moment? Of course, there are instruments that have a sound for that! I don't know about you but out of all the instruments, the violin is for sure my favorite, and Selina was generous enough to share why she enjoys playing the violin. The cool part is that she enjoys doing songs that don't have originally a violin in them and she adds her own personality with it.

(Iszi - Japanese Jujutsu)
In this episode, I had the honour to have Iszi as my guest. She shared with me her interest in Japanese Jujutsu as her hobby.
Quick! Off the top of your head, what is the difference between Japanese Jujutsu and Brazilian Jujutsu. Don’t know the answer, well I guess you will have to listen to this episode where Iski goes into great detail to explain the differences and how Japanese Jujutsu played a significant role in her life. She also mentions in the episode that when it comes to protecting yourself there’s no such thing as a cheap shot. Use whatever you have to protect yourself. It’s also important to understand to never underestimate your opponent, they might be hiding a special technique that might throw you off (literally and metaphorically).

(McKenzie - Metal Detecting)
In this episode, I had the honour to have McKenzie as my guest. She shared with me her interest in metal detecting as her hobby.
Metal detecting has multiple benefits for yourself and the environment around you. First of all when you go metal detecting, you can find some pretty cool items that may have some historic significance. Secondly you’re helping clean up the environment from littering. From those two points of view it's a win-win situation. Why not give it a try, I’m sure you’ll find some interesting within 50 meters from where you live. Unless you live in the middle of the ocean, you might have to go a little deep to find something cool.

(Stephen - Blacksmithing)
In this episode, I had the honour to have Stephen as my guest. He shared with me his interest in blacksmithing as his hobby.
Iron man from the Marvel comics created his first suit of armour through the process of blacksmithing. In other words, blacksmithing is an old practice but is still pretty cool to do in mordern times and in Iron Man's case, it saved his life and made it much better. For Stephen case, being a black smith indeed made his life better because he now has the ability to forge awesome tools and knives that will last a very long time. Stephen mentioned that some of his most interesting work started off with a general idea and then from there it just became something better than what he had planed.

Sunday Oct 11, 2020
(Shtim -Minecraft World Builder)
In this episode, I had the honour to have Shtim as my guest. He shared with me his interest in Minecraft world building as his hobby.
What if I told you that there's a game, simple in concept but has the limitless possibility for wonderful creations? You're in luck because that game is Minecraft. But here's the twist, its not simply Minecraft... its building a functional society in Minecraft to represent anything you want. Shtim plays in a Minecraft server that does its best to recreate architectural structures from a specific time period. What is even cooler is that this world works like a normal society. you have people with jobs to create news papers, you can go to prison for committing a crime, you can even have organized protests if you do not agree with a specific law or point of view. They can pretty much do anything in this society. However, there has been one big challenge where they have yet be able to find a perfect answer. Listen to the episode to find out what it is. Maybe you might have a solution that works.
