(Matthew - Field Recording)

In this episode, I had the honour to have Matthew as my guest. He shared with me his interest in field recording as his hobby.

Definition: Field recording is the term used for an audio recording produced outside a recording studio, and the term applies to recordings of both natural and human-produced sounds. It also applies to sound recordings like electromagnetic fields or vibrations using different microphones like a passive magnetic antenna for electromagnetic recordings or contact microphones. For underwater field recordings, a field recordist uses hydrophones to capture the sounds and/or movements of whales, or other aquatic organisms. These recordings are very useful for sound designers.  (Source: Wikipedia contributors. (2021, May 24). Field recording. In Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia. Ep.141 The Precision To Perfection (Dale - Laser Engraving)

(Dale -  Laser Engraving)

In this episode, I had the honour to have Dale as my guest. He shared with me his interest in laser engraving as his hobby.

Ep.140 My Voice To Your Ears (Brendan - Public Speaking)

(Brendan - Public Speaking)

In this episode, I had the honour to have Brendan as my guest. He shared with me his interest in public speaking as his hobby.

You don’t have to overthink public speaking. You can do it in front of a crowd of 1,000,000 people or you can do it in front of 1 person, you can even do it in front of a mirror to get some more practice. Brendan mentioned that it is important you find a topic that you find interesting because it will be more interesting and you have a better chance at feeling more comfortable to talk about it. He also mentioned that public speaking is not a 1 size fits all, everyone one has their own style of public speak. I for one use my hands more than a normal human should (I do it for every podcast episode). It’s up to you to find what works best for your speaking style. (Source: Wikipedia contributors. Inspiration can come literally anywhere when it comes to costuming, whether it’s from a TV show, a movie, someone you know, or even something you created in a dream! Bridget has been costuming for a while now and when she watches some of her favorite tv shows she recreates identical outfits.
