(Dionysis -Pilot)
In this episode, I had the honour to have Dionysis as my guest. He shared with me his interest in being a pilot as his hobby.
Definition: An aircraft pilot or aviator is a person who controls the flight of an aircraft by operating its directional flight controls. Some other aircrew members, such as navigators or flight engineers, are also considered aviators, because they are involved in operating the aircraft's navigation and engine systems. Other aircrew members, such as drone operators, flight attendants, mechanics and ground crew, are not classified as aviators. Wikipedia contributors. (2021, July 6). Aircraft pilot. Ep.155 Not A Pain In The Brass (Dre - Baritonist)
Sunday Aug 15, 2021
Sunday Aug 15, 2021
(Dre - Baritonist)
In this episode, I had the honour to have Dre as my guest. He shared with me his interest in being a baritonist as his hobby.
Definition: The baritone horn, or sometimes just called baritone, is a low-pitched brass instrument in the saxhorn family. It is a piston-valve brass instrument with a bore that is mostly conical (like the higher pitched flugelhorn and alto (tenor) horn) but it has a narrower bore than the similarly pitched euphonium. It uses a wide-rimmed cup mouthpiece like that of its peers, the trombone and euphonium. Like the trombone and the euphonium, the baritone horn can be considered either a transposing or non-transposing instrument.

Ep.154 Not The Chips You Can Eat (Mike - Collecting Poker Chips)
Sunday Aug 08, 2021
Sunday Aug 08, 2021
(Mike - Collecting Poker Chips)
In this episode, I had the honour to have Mike as my guest. He shared with me his interest in collecting poker chips as his hobby.
Definition: If you think about it, collecting poker chips can be one of the cheapest collection hobbies. When it comes to the poker chips themselves, it doesn’t have to be the most expensive chips, you can easily have a collection of the cheapest chips a casino can offer.
Casino tokens (also known as casino or gaming chips, checks, or cheques) are small discs used in lieu of currency in casinos. Colored metal, injection-molded plastic or compression molded clay tokens of various denominations are used primarily in table games, as opposed to metal token coins, used primarily in slot machines. Casino tokens are also widely used as play money in casual or tournament games. (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casino_token)

Ep.153 How Many Rotations Can You Count? (David - Pen Spinning)
Sunday Aug 01, 2021
Sunday Aug 01, 2021
(David - Pen Spinning)
In this episode, I had the honour to have David as my guest. He shared with me his interest in pen spinning as his hobby.
Definition: Pen spinning is a form of object manipulation that involves the deft manipulation of a writing instrument with hands. Although it is often considered a form of self-entertainment (usually in a school or office setting), multinational competitions and meetings are sometimes held. It is sometimes classified as a form of contact juggling; however, some tricks do leave contact with the body. In addition to writing instruments, it is often also seen performed by drummers with their drumsticks. In fact, drumsticks are substantially easier to manipulate than pens, because of their extra mass and length. Pen spinning has quickly gained international popularity through online video sharing and forums. The hobby has been popular across the world since at least the 1970s.
